CFIC COMMITTEES

Gain more from your membership by participating on any one of our seven committees!

CFIC Advisory Committee - Steve Hall and Fred Morganthall.

Membership Committee - This body is responsible for creating and reviewing plans to develop new membership campaigns for the association.

Golf/Fundraising Committee - This committee bears the responsibility for the planning and orchestrating of the October Golf Tournament as well as both the Silent the Live Auctions associated with that event, and oversight of the 2011 Convention Golf Outing.

Convention Committee - This committee is important because the convention is crucial for bringing all of our membership together for a full weekend of family fun and activities celebrating all levels of the food industry.

Legislature/PAC Committee - With a renewed focus on legislative and regulatory issues, this committee works to ensure that staff lobbyists maintain thorough and complete information on critical legislative and regulatory issues to each of the CFIC members in a timely manner. Additionally, this committee will try to find creative and fun ways to raise money for the Political Action Committee.

Scholarship Committee - This committee will investigate scholarships which this year will be awarded to both high school students entering college and current college students continuing their undergraduate education. The committee will also research specific skill training needed for our industry employees and determine geographically where to schedule appropriate community college training.

Nominating Committee - The committee will develop a single slate of officers and directors to present at CFIC Annual Meeting.
